Pine Rod, Birch Veneer and Forbo Linoleum

Material investigation with Forbo linoleum led to work and creation of these samples. The purpose is for Forbo Flooring Systems to showcase the versatility and possible new and alternative uses for their materials, at furniture fairs and events.

The process in making the linoleum wrap around the rods requires a novel process to increase the material's pliability.
